I told them stories before bed time and when I asked what they wanted the story to be about E. said "Us!" D. on the other hand said "Jesus". How cute is that? So I told them about how much Jesus loves them. Cute right? Cute.
I had to include this slightly blurry but oh-so-awesome shot of E. watching Summer Stock. I love, love, love musicals and I thought it was time to introduce E. to the world of awesomeness and my first true love - Gene Kelley. He liked it, though I think he mostly just liked watching a movie on our bed.
Here is the terribly sad story that needs to be documented because there will be evidence of it for the next 5 or so years. Yesterday E. and I were playing on that very side of the bed that you see in the picture. While we were playing with a paper sack (we were cleaning up) E. decided it would be funny to throw it over his head and run the other way. Well, there is a big bed stand the other way and plenty of stuff on the floor (I said we were cleaning up right). So, E. tripped over something and smashed right into the bed stand. These pictures don't really show it well but he cut open the side of his face (he's showing off his Elmo bandaid in the picture) and he chipped off the bottom part of his tooth. Fortunately there was no damage to the nerves or the blood vessels and he probably won't lose it but he will just have a little dinosaur smile until he loses that tooth.
You can kind of see it in this picture. It's the tooth on his right - you're left. We're working on getting a better picture.
