Christmas time (a wee bit late).

Christmas was lovely this year.  Really low key and nice to stay home and veg for most of it.  We made some cookies for Santa, lounged about and got lots of fun new toys and slippers and scary hoods.  It was great, thanks to everyone who made it so lovely.

E. mostly ate the sugar for the snickerdoodles.  I guess he did his part though.

Layin' out Santa's spread.  With carrots for the reindeer.

E. was in awe with his fabulous stocking from Santa.  He kept looking at us like he wasn't sure it was all really for him.  We carry on my father's tradition of pantyhose for stockings.  Always a hit.

The loot.

Like I said, creepy hood.  But it keeps him warm.

The most precious Christmas face ever.  Isn't he just so sweet.

And yes, we played the role of lying to our child, Santa came.

E. modeled my big present, sunglasses.

"Oohhh!!!!"  E. scored this year.

Bests to all!

Finally, an update huh?

It's about time right?  I know most of you read this blog for the adorable pictures of E. anyway so here are a whole bunch from the winter holidays.  I'm taking a bit of a blogging sabbatical so - yeah - deal with it.

We went to the Children's Museum right before Christmas and it was so packed E. had a hard time having fun.  I think we managed though.  He loves the trains, of course.

Just cute right?

We went to the circle to see the lights after, you gotta love seeing Santa on a motorcycle right?
