Mucho Random.

Here are a bunch of very random pictures we've taken since being home.  We haven't done much due to being sick and trying to get back into a groove but we've played and made lots of messes.  Plus, X has learned how to crawl, pull himself up and become an absolute terror to everything under two feet.  You can see him crawling a little bit in some of these pictures.

They played together in that suitcase for almost an hour.  It was really nice.

Typical faces.  E. is squeezing in glee and X. is begging me to stop him.  Poor kid.

They were playing in the same room so well I had to come sneak some pictures.  E. caught on quickly though and the sneaky sneaky ended quickly.

 So sweet.

We made some homemade rainbow crayons that turned out so fun.  E. loves them.  He told me he couldn't smile for the camera though because if he did the camera would take away his happy.  I don't know how that happened but I wasn't at all surprised.

I was so excited to make these root beer cupcakes that I made M. take lots of pictures.  We made a big deal of it and got everyone ready to eat only to have a giant failure of taste, they didn't taste at all like root beer.  Mucho lame-o if you ask me.

 X. enjoyed them though.
 E. poured extra root beer all over his and enjoyed it that way.

Nothin' like this goof ball to make your night!  He had fun and that's what counts right?

Walk down memory lane.

It's quite the long story but while I was in Utah I had a "homecoming" for my mission (even though I got home 7 years ago).  My cute Dad even made a sign for me.  Isn't it fab?

E. made this great sign for me.  At first that was he and I then somehow it morphed into my sister and her baby.  The red all over them is supposedly pajamas (they aren't werewolves).

Everyone drew pictures of their favorite memories.  M. drew a fetching picture of our wedding.  So cute.

I even gave a talk.  It was cheesy and silly and absolutely wonderful.  Like I said, it's a long story but I'm so glad we did it.

My one request was a pinata for the kids.  I love pinatas.  The kids have so much fun swinging and missing and hitting and fetching candy.  The men have so much fun hanging, swinging, making kids miss and playing tricks.  I love it.  So that was my big request.

E. was quite the slugger.

It's so rare that my sisters and I are together.  We're all in different states across the country so it's so sweet when we get to be together. Karlie-B joined in, isn't she pretty?  Thanks family for such a lovely homecoming.  Seven years later but still wonderful.

Easter catch up.

I really am trying to catch up, but this last week has been pretty crazy nasty and I've hardly had time to do anything let alone spend much time on a computer.  Anyway, here are some pictures from Easter.  Yep, catching up from Easter.  Anywho, here there are:

We were still at my parents house minus M so forgive the picture quality.  As I've said before, M, takes all the pictures in our house because my skills are severely lacking.  Plus, I was holding X. so cut me a bit of slack huh?  E. was far too excited to eat his breakfast, he just wanted to keep hunting for eggs!
 X. on the other hand, enjoyed his delicious breakfast of Belgian waffles, bacon and eggs.  My mom is the best!  She made us a fun Easter breakfast and it was so fun to be there with she and my Dad.
See, bad picture taking skills.  But look at that awesome basket full of eggs.
X. managed to find a few eggs as well.

He just wanted to eat them though.  He loved gnawing on them.

I love this picture.  E. found eggs buried in the beans and he told everyone about it all day.  I love that my Dad is sitting in the back.  This is his "Sunday pose".  If he's not on the piano he's reading the paper or the mail in that chair.  I have such fond memories of my Dad dressed up, ready for church reading the paper.  He was completely unfazed by my screaming son searching for eggs.
My sister surprised us with an impromptu visit from Virginia that made the whole trip perfect.  She brought her sweet little girl and we all got to meet her for the first time.  She and X. are only two months apart and hopefully the next time they see each other they'll play better than they did this time.  They mostly stared at each other then chewed on whatever was in their hands.  My niece was much more mobile than X. at the time so she left him in the dust most days.  X. took it as a challenge and now he's movin' all over the place.

We spent Easter evening with these loonies.  I don't know what's going on with Tio Gary or what these pictures are because I didn't take them but  - wow.  Check out those scary faces!  I'm terrified!  I wouldn't want to meet these people in a dark alley.
Tia, you look so lovely in this picture.  The boys look slightly distracted but I think you look great.  Tio Gary, were you saying something terribly important?  I'm guessing you're saying, "No, you didn't see Maria and Derek.  Their dance was delightful, she looked as if she was floating on air."  You big Dancing with the Stars fan!

Such an awesome face.
Cute kids.  Cute Tia.
The whole Easter crew.  It smelled like Mink poo from the neighbors garden but we forced smiles on our faces.

More cute cousin hugs.
There is no explanation for this picture but as I ran across it I laughed and had to add it.    Down to the little bit of crusty food on the side of him mouth.  How, what?  I don't know.
