Berkeley

We made it out to Berkley last week and had fun comparing it to Stanford's campus.  We managed to capture some of the, well, let's say endearing things we saw.

Of course, we got a family picture in front of the famous arch.
Look closer at this picture.  Yes, this is an official, jersey wearing, broomstick riding, spectator watching Quiddich game.  That's right, Quiddich!
Quiddich under the Bell Tower.  So Berkeley.
E. pushed his stroller through campus like a pro.
And the best part of our trip to Berkeley was this couple.  Again, you might need to look closer. Yes he has giant, curly red hair but that is nothing to her...quiver of arrows.  Did you read that correctly you're thinking? Yes you did--she is carrying a quiver of arrows - no bow, just the arrows.  Our Berkeley trip was definitely everything I dreamed it would be.  Crazy sauce for sure.

Adorable pictures of my adorable kids.

Grandmas - these pictures are for you.  I love this face.  He's figuring out the whole smiling at will thing, man he's cute.

 Mr. Stud.
Big eyes like his cute owl.
 E. took these pictures himself.  We had no idea until we found this camera later.  Little self-portrait man.

We finally took pictures of little X. in his blessing outfit.  Isn't he absolutely adorable?

The Beach.

We went to the beach a couple weeks ago and I dare say it was one of the most beautiful places I've ever been.  We went through mountains with huge pumpkin farms, then through these beautiful hills with cliffs and the ocean right next to us.  It was so wonderful and fun and cold.  It's definitely not somewhere I'm going to be getting a tan - but it's beautiful and we had so much fun.  We went again earlier this week and weren't quite as successful.  It was so windy and cold we only stayed for a few minutes.  We saw some pretty sweet para-sailing though.  So we got that goin' for us.

Cool dude E. eating some strawberries we picked up on our way.
Aw.

I had X. in my coat the entire time.  He was so good and just slept.

Check out that awesome leg kick.
Isn't this place beautiful?  So foggy.

See, X. was there.  Mini stud.
I love, love love this shot.
Then a bird entered in the shot and, well, it was still pretty cool.
Look at my little chunk.  He's gained over a pound since this picture.

Makin' sand angels.
Such a pensive poet shot.
Me soaking in the sun, except it was just fog and I look angry.  Oh well, I don't take such great pensive shots.
Family at the beach -hot dog!  Who would have thought we would ever move to California?  It's still weird.
My boys.

Needless to say, the beach was amazing.  And if you caught my movie reference above (Katie) and can tell me what movie it is I will send you a present.

The park.

We went on our first trip to the park out here in CA.  E. had a blast, M. made it through without complaining and X. slept.  It was a bit chilly and there were several parties going on that we almost stole free food from but it all resulted in this.

 X.'s park experience.

All tuckered out after a long day of awesomeness.  I love how X is reaching for his Daddy.

Stanford

We took my parents to see Stanford and we all decided that we're going to just move in - right on campus.  We're going to set up tents and just move there - it's beautiful.  E. even asked if we could go to church at the amazing campus church.  I told him that yes, we'll be attending it at least once.  The entire campus was amazing.

 I so love this picture.

 So sweet.
