Sausalito and the beach.

While Tia Mia was here we went out to Sausalito and ate some oober delicious hamburgers and to-die-for fish and chips.  We also looked around and thought it was lovely but my top priority was the food.

We got this great shot of X.  Fitting no?
These pictures are completely random but I love them.  My kids are so fun.

This place appropriately called "HAMBURGERS" should be renamed to say "FREAKING GOOD HAMBURGERS"!  They were delicious.
We also got some yummy ice cream and ate it outside, even though it was quite cold out it was still lovely.
Perhaps you're tired of Beach pictures.  I'm not so here is another bundle of awesome pictures!

 Karate Kid!

E.'s way of making up for lack of snow.

Right after this picture was taken E. ran away from a big wave and fell face first into the water.  The water was FREEZING so he quickly turned into the naked aborigine you see below.  He was so cold and so sandy but loved every second of it.  Little exhibitionist.
I love these pictures of E. and Tia Mia.

 The whole crew.

The Tia Mia trip!

Our favorite Tia Mia came out for a visit and we had a whole whirlwind of fun!  We played hard, we visited all over the Bay Area and we loved having her here.

I think this little spoiled man loved her being here the most.  He's quite devastated that she's gone.
We took her to our favorite Candy store and you can imagine how spoiled and full of sugar our little man was after she spoiled him like crazy.
Then we hit Stanford and the bell tower.  It was my first time up there and while everyone was loving the adventure I realized that yes, I'm still very afraid of heights.  (Note how far away from the gate I made us stand and how tightly I'm holding X.  I was terrified!)
 E. insisted on playing on the gates nearly giving me a heart-attack!
 Tia Mia and E.
This creeper lady joined us on an adventure to find our way out.  She got a little too close and personal in her joining.  She was looking over my shoulder and snuggled right up into our group.
My little hippie man hanging out.

Tia Mia brought this great backpack from Lela.  E. is in love with it.
A few days later we went out to the Golden Gate bridge.  It was so beautiful (and packed because there was a 49er's game) and we loved it.

I love this shot.  What do you think she's saying in her head?  I think it's something like, "Why aren't they showing episodes of Party of Five up here?  Then this place would be perfect!"
We had to end the bridge time with some pensive Chard shots.  Can't leave without those.

More to come but we had so much fun and loved having our Tia Mia here with us.  We will miss you Tia!

Post-Christmas visitors.

Our dear unkie Moo Goo Gai Pan and his friend Madge O'Houilihan (that's really their names) came to visit us the day after Christmas.  We had so much fun and we're glad they came out to see us.  Our sofa is your sofa anytime friends!  Moo Goo took these shots for us, they're quite fabulous.
